GRANTS DISTRIBUTED DURING FINANCIAL YEAR END MARCH 2026

Alex’s Wish £30,000 & $65,000 Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a severe and progressive genetic disorder affecting approximately 350,000 individuals globally, with around 2,500 cases in the UK. Diagnosed primarily in boys before the age of five, DMD leads to progressive muscle weakness, loss of mobility, and life-threatening complications such as cardiac and respiratory failure, typically by the third or fourth decade of life. However, the average life expectancy is only 28 years. This grant is allocated to a project called Elevex which is almost at the production stage following years of research to assist in arm movement, and also to help set up a virtual hospital for young men living with Duchenne.

Anthony Nolan £593 Anthony Nolan makes lifesaving matches for people with blood cancer and blood disorders. A stem cell transplant could give someone a second chance at life. Astro Brain Tumour Fund £50,000 Research into providing focused Ultrasound for Low Grade Glioma (LGG) Tumours.

Beder £5,000 Beder is a charity taking a unique approach to softly raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through exciting events and initiatives.

The Boat House £30,000 work with children and young people aged 5 to 17, from socio-economically deprived communities across Blackpool, to help tackle the challenges they’re experiencing. This grant will fund a four-week summer residential camp programme for 200-250 young people, prioritising those who may otherwise never experience a holiday or residential. Young people attend for one week each, sleeping under canvas and taking shared responsibility for daily camp life.

Bothers Andre Cafe $27,000 The mission is to share the many talents of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with the world. The only paid employees of the Café are the IDD individuals, everyone else are volunteers. They operate 2 cafes, and this roasting machine that we are funding means they will save significant sums and also earn income from roasting for other outlets.

The Campus School at Boston College $40,000 The Campus School educates students ages 3 to 22 with extensive support needs. It is a unique population including students with Cerebral Palsy, Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome), Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Global Developmental Delays. The personalized educational and therapeutic services focus on the potential of each student. The students at this wonderful school will be able to enjoy a new indoor recreational space equipped with sensory equipment and a ceiling lift funded by TBT.

Cure EB £55,000 and $41,000 seeks to assist those suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa ("EB"), in particular but not exclusively by making grants: to fund medical research and/or clinical trials anywhere in the world for the purpose of discovering, developing and delivering treatments for EB; and to fund the treatment of patients who are suffering from EB. Cure EB will allocate these grants to research projects.

Debra $60,000 and £21,000 DEBRA UK is a national charity providing support to people affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a painful genetic skin blistering condition. As well providing care and support to improve quality of life for individuals and families living with EB, DEBRA also funds pioneering research into future treatments. DEBRA is looking to repurpose 20-50 drugs currently in the market for eczema and psoriasis and this US$ grant is directed to this effort. The £21,000 will help families affected by EB enjoy holidays in a sae environment.

The Empowerment Plan $24,750 165 unhoused individuals will receive EMWPR Sleeping Bag Coats as a result of this funding. Additionally, this grant will positively impact the projected 55 individuals served through Empowerment Plan’s paid-to-learn supportive employment model over the next year.

Fairshot £25,000 We are funding Fairshot's 2026 graduation ceremony and also the costs associated with supporting graduates once they reach their workplace.

Fine Cell Work £10,000 Proceeds from the Swallow art work stitched by prisoners at Gala 25 - this donation is to FCW general fund.

Half the Story £15,000 Half the Story is a social enterprise making biscuits and employing people facing major barriers to work, including homelessness. Their whole team is paid the Real Living Wage, and everyone is offered holistic support and mentoring.

Java Joy $20,000 We are funding 8 new portable coffee carts to let the Joyristas spread more love and coffee around Atlanta and further afield!

John Foundation $105,400 Our grants help fund truly life-changing opportunities. John Foundation rescues vulnerable children and young adults from being trafficked; providing education, medical care, training, and employable skills for an independent future. This grant is providing 2 new buses, sofas for the newly completed children's homes, and equipment for new science lab and library

Kares 4 Kids $45,00 This year we are proud to be supporting 5 new projects. Camp Sunshine brings the fun and support of camp to children receiving oncology treatment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. SHINE Autism equips first responders and public venues with sensory kits that help calm and support children with autism during overwhelming or emergency situations. Just Kingdom Sports gives free after-school sports programs for children from underserved families in McDonough, Georgia, where over 50% of residents live in poverty. Through basketball, soccer, cheerleading, flag football, and tennis, JKS provides safe, structured opportunities. Empowering Former Foster Youth Through Stable Housing and Support. Lydia’s Place provides safe, stable housing and wrap-around support for young adults (ages 17-24) who have experienced foster care or housing insecurity as they pursue education and employment. Will to Live Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of teen suicide, promoting mental health education, and spreading hope among young people

The Lunchbowl Network $56,800 The Lunchbowl Network educates and feeds some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. This year we funded their Christmas cinema trip, new school uniforms, vital work in their deaf unit and class for children with disabilities, and the schooling of 3 talented teenage graduates of the kindergarten who excelled in their recent exams.

Mamabiashara £17,500 rescues around 1,300 vulnerable adults in Kenya for £10K who generally have an average of 3 children each. Mamabiashara creates a generational changes in attitudes to things like GBV, FGM and early marriage.

Mind Over Mountains £7,500 This new charity aims endevours to support mental fitness, naturally and provides professional support from counsellors & coaches whilst walking in nature in a safe, unpressured setting

The Mizen Foundation £6,000 This grant is helping the team carry out impactful school visits talking about the dangers of knife crime and spreading positivity to young people.

Momentum £49,568 funding a senior social worker for a year who is able to help families deal with the various forms of help that they can receive when dealing with the serious illnesses that their children have been diagnosed with.

The New York Centre for Children $30,000 provides trauma-focused therapy services to victims of child abuse and their families, free of charge, for as long as their healing requires. This grant will renovate 3 of their playrooms.

The Olivia Hodson Cancer Fund £8,000 was established in memory of Olivia who was just two and a half years old when she died from a malignant germ cell tumour. This grant funds a fun sports day in June 26 with lots of activities for children living with serious conditions and their families.

P.E.A.K £45,000 An organisation dedicated to supporting families and educators who live or work with children pre or post an autism diagnosis. Their mission is to give support and training in practical strategies that address challenges faced whilst navigating the autistic spectrum so that your children reach their peak potential. The Brothers Trust start up grant is in its final year enabling this small charity to take a step up and we are really excited about the difference this has already made.

RB Kares £6,980 The purpose of the grant is to provide dental treatment to the local clients. Dentaid Charity has a fully equipped bus, dentists and hygienists that come Kingston to assess and treat the clients. We are also helping to fund their soup kitchen and the provision of emergency packs to victims of domestic violence.

Story Book Dads £9,610 allows families to reconnect through the magic of storytelling. They help parents in prison to record bedtime stories and messages for their children on CD or DVD. We supported their core funding as well start up costs to operate in 3 new prisons.

The St Francis Centre $42,000 provides food, clothing, and other essential services for families in need in the Fair Oaks neighbourhood. In an area once plagued by crime, the St. Francis Center staff, volunteers, and neighbours worked together to build a vibrant community. This grant will allow them to buy a van to transport at least 50 young people to multiple outings each year.
