Introducing Star Keeble, the 12 year big sister to Ray Keeble, who was born last July with EB, a disease that the Brothers Trust wants the world to know about so that the necessary funds can be raised so that a cure can be found.
To reflect the amount of support for The Brothers Trust from North America, we have wanted to find a new charity Stateside to support. A family friend, Marlene who has long settled living in California and has an excellent track record of introductions (she introduced Dom’s sister to her husband) and she provided us with three charities which fitted our mission statement and including St. Francis Center in Fair Oaks neighbourhood, Redwood City.
It will come as no surprise that the Holland family has a special affinity with Thailand and particularly so for Tom and his bothers.
It is rare that a family gets to spend three months in such a beautiful place and during such a formative time in their young lives.
Visiting the numerous orphanages in Thailand, many of which were established after the 2004 tsunami (on which The Impossible is based) we became aware of Thailand’s complex social problems and we have long intended that The Brothers Trust should find a worthy organisation for us to support.
Introducing Warm Heart Worldwide
As the Brothers Trust embarks on its 4th year, things are very different now with Covid becoming a new word for everyone to wrestle with. Our live events to attend premieres and set visits seem a distant memory and still remain a long way off. Like many individuals and organisations we have needed to make changes to how we operate and what we are able to accomplish.
Many of us will be willing away 2020 but some more than others and particularly so a family of four from Twickenham. Meet the Fulford-Browns. Parents, Nick and Hannah and their two daughters Phoebe and Sasha.
In the autumn of 2019, their eldest Phoebe was complaining of a sore knee. Not uncommon for an active thirteen year on the cusp of adulthood. Just growing pains. The normal aches and pains that we all get and we all walk off. The pain will go, only it didn’t.
The purpose of these podcasts (in-vision) is to demonstrate to our supporters where your money is being spent.
In this episode, Sam sits down with Emma Hallam of a worthy and important charity called Alex’s Wish who will benefit from our latest campaign and the launch of the first Brothers Trust mug. Which might even proudly feature your design if you enter our competition via our website and runs until the 1st November 2020
We hope you enjoy hearing about Alex’s hope and Emma’s ambitions for her charity and from this gain a better understanding of the good we can achieve with your support.
This is not an easy post to write. I feel a need to write with some haste but with great care also because the tone needs to be correct: arresting yet affirming but not mawkish.

Tom’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night rather caught us out with our plans for a Massive Marvel quiz. As with Jig Saw Wars, this is it not a fund-raiser but more a community building exercise for people across the world who might be struggling for things to do at this time and indeed to feel part of something. Everyone is very welcome and the more the merrier as we say in the UK.

Coffee punctuates our day – and The Brothers Trust is delighted to share with you a charity called Javajoy (@java.joy) that harnesses the mighty bean and brings a great service to many people. Java Joy was introduced to us by Kares4Kids (@kares4kids2005) – a charity that we support in Atlanta, USA.
Of all the arts, ballet is arguably the most rarefied. French words set to Italian music, it is certainly high art and as such it has never been on my radar. And yet, as many of you know, ballet has been so good to me and to my family. Indeed, The Brothers Trust would never have been conceived had it not been for ballet.
To the uninitiated, a Comic Con really needs to be explained – because a convention for comics does not do it justice at all. Firstly, it is much broader than the comic world and encompasses all areas of entertainment from film, games, TV, sports, online, comics of course and everything to do with fame and celebrity more generally.
On #GivingTuesday, we would like to flag up our upcoming campaign with Open Links. Written for and originally published in 2014 by Anthony Nolan - with all proceeds going to their cause fighting blood cancer. Since our platform and reach has increased, we are about to republish Open Links ourselves and we will forward ALL proceeds on to Anthony Nolan.
A new venture for The Brothers Trust launches today, something that has been a long time in the planning and we are excited that it is finally ready to share with our supporters. Following our ‘Brothers Trust Dogs Collars’, we are excited to launch our range of Brothers Trust T-Shirts that you will have seen the brothers wearing on our most recent promotional videos. But these are not just any old T-shirts…
The Spider-Man Far From Home press junket in London was timely with an announcement we can make about an exciting new venture for us that - The Brothers Trust merchandise is finally approved and we are almost ready to launch. And Tom was able to wear our first Brothers Trust T-shirt when being interviewed by Myra Ali. As you will see in this video, Myra has EB - and so this is the perfect way to launch this initiative since all the proceeds it generates will go to Debra - the charity charged with combatting EB. Just raising awareness about EB and Debra is a worthwhile exercise and expertly done by Myra.
